today…..I just needed this and that’s all

IMG_1950You do not need to know precisely what is happening, or exactly where it’s all going.  What you need is to recognize the possibilities and challenges offered by the present moment, and to embrace them with courage, faith and hope.    a quote by Thomas Merton

  1. A great reminder to live in the moment and be present in the present – but is that a plant growing out of your mixer? What on earth are you taking a picture of there? (And I really think the question meets the quote qualifications, cause I have the courage to ask and have faith I’m not offending you by asking and I really hope the answer doesn’t freak me out!)

    1. cracking up, of course there is something growing out of my mixer! An onion sprouted! I thought it went along with the quote “You do not need to know precisely what is happening, or exactly where it’s all going.” I love your courage to ask and no offense at all taken. I think my answer will not freak you out. I’m semi normal, promise.

      1. Okay, an onion. I can totally handle that! And yes, it’s perfect for the comment – and obviously we can tell where I still need to work on my personal development! I have an insane need to know what is going on… 🙂 Thank you!

  2. I’m not 100% sure what you are doing here Miss Tracie. But know that we send you lots of love and hope everything is okay. I hope that you have all that you need today. Do what you must. xoxoxo

    1. I like that the image with words had some questions come up. All is well. I just found this quote I had written down a while ago and I really love the quote. I found the onion sprouting out of my mixer to be photo worthy. It got me to look twice and then take it’s picture.
